Art Fundamentals for Teens
In this 4 week course students will explore creative approaches to content and composition using a variety of drawing media and techniques.
There is a different focus every month!
A focus on expressive content and accurate seeing, measurement, and proportion. Assignments stress the use of line, gesture, value, and composition through observation.
Working with line, shape, value, color, and the principles of spatial organization, learn to see, measure and describe proportion accurately.
Artists Ages 12-15 years
Required Supply List:
- Sketchbook-Canson Mixed Media XL 7×10
- Pencil Set 2H, 4H, 6B and 8B
- Kneaded eraser
- White eraser
- Mechanical pencil
- Pentel Hybrid Technica Pens in size 3, 6 and 8
- Pencil Sharpener
- #6 watercolor brush
